Commercial Manager
Dhaka, Bangladesh Full-time Commercial & Sales 5+ Years Experience
We are a leading trading company specializing in capital imaging medical equipment — including MRI, CT, X-Ray, ultrasound, and related diagnostic systems. We are seeking a driven Commercial Manager to spearhead our business growth, manage key accounts, and lead our commercial operations end-to-end.
About the role
As Commercial Manager, you will own the full commercial lifecycle — from prospecting hospitals and diagnostic centers to closing high-value equipment deals, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring after-sales satisfaction. You will work closely with the leadership team to shape our market strategy and expand our footprint across the region.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth
- Manage the full sales cycle for capital medical imaging equipment
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers
- Lead tender preparation, bid management, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate with international suppliers and OEM partners on pricing, availability, and delivery
- Oversee import documentation, LC management, and customs coordination
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics
- Prepare commercial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management
- Mentor and manage the sales and commercial team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements for medical devices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or Life Sciences; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in medical equipment sales or trading
- Proven track record in selling capital/imaging equipment (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of tender processes and government hospital procurement
- Experience with import/export procedures and LC handling
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with DGDA regulations and medical device registration
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is a plus
- Fluency in Bengali and English
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
